Personally, I 'm glad to have Cabot gone. While his loss cutting idea is a good one 20% is completly arbitrary. Why not 19% or 21%? His system is basically trend following, and those of us who have held Cymer for a while know the trend is not our friend in this case. No trend lasts forever and I am still a long term Cymer bull, though I wish my cost basis was lower. With Cabot's departure, CYMI becomes an orphan stock with little institutional support. The fact is that the street has low expectations for this company, so that if some concrete good news (incresed earnings) arrive, the stock price will climb rapidly. If not, it will continue to drift downward. I've got my fingers crossed.
