"China couldn't care less about the environment" I don't agree with this. I think China deliberately decided not to let environmental concerns slow their growth, but they are rapidly learning the folly of that course. The elites in Bejing don't want to have to carry an oxygen tank around to live! Their course is totally understandable to our (R)'s, many of whom STILL haven't gotten to where China is today, couciousness-wise.
