Actually the problem is both spending AND collections. You managed to sidestep that part of the problem rather unadroitly.

Because it is a smaller part of the problem.

Au contraire, collections fell off a cliff when we went into recession. That collapse coupled with the ongoing freebie tax cuts given the rich, killed the income side of the equation.

Under the Bush recession, collections have plummeted to levels not seen in a very long time. He fukked us good! And YOU voted for him twice!

Given a choice between working for him 3rd time, and Obama, I would certainly vote for him the 3rd time.

Sadly, partisan ideology is blind.

Germany's deficit this year will be twice what the recommended level is for an EU nation due to stimulus spending.......and Germany was late to the stimulus game.

No, it is not "recommended level", it is the maximum. Recommended level (if there is such a thing) would be zero.

And, the US rate is 4.3x of Euro max already,

And the EU is not done stimulating.....plus they didn't have a Republican congress and president spending like there was no tomorrow for 8 years.
