If your focus is just the big picture on not the specifics for the companies in IYR (and thus SRS), there is nothing to debate.

I have no idea just where SRS will go on the short-term. Given the financial strength of IYR's top REITs and the inherent faults in double inverse ETFs, I'd be amazed to see SRS go back up much more. But it seems to spike periodically for a while, over and over, before hitting new lows each time.
