Calvin Thomas had an article either today or yesterday in which he mentioned Fox News as the "most" popular news channel. I think he got that from the ex MacDonald's guy, Matt Drudge. Drudge always points out Fox's ratings in comparison to the other cable news shows. But, MOST people still get their news from the networks. NONE of the cable news shows come anywhere close to the networks. AND, if you add up the viewers to "legitimate" cable news, Fox doesn't come close to them. Fox can beat them individually but not in the aggregate. It's almost like Hitler's brownshirts. "Look, all the people are marching but the brownshirts have the largest rallies".
