I sort of agree that the reward system has been skewed.

I also sort of agree with you that Washington is not able to and should not try to do too much. What Washington should and is able to do is nudge around the edges. When done right, there is great benefit.

Right now Washington is a bit too timid in trying to reduce the enormous disparity of wealth in this country. Hedge fund operators and banksters making obscene amounts of money. I am not only talking about multibillion dollar incomes but even average paychecks at Goldman at $700/800k.

I don't think Washington could or should make moves here to make drastic changes but there should be some efforts at what you would call the "redistribtion" of wealth.

Disparities are approaching out of control conditions.
