Interesting insight. That fits with the dithering.

President Obama took ownership of the war when he announced the results of his Afghan Strategy Review 1.0 back in March.

Politically yes, but emotionally? He may be having a hard time sleeping at night while he worries about sending troops to put down his muslim brothers.
