AARP's primary revenue source is medigap insurance. Membership revenue is secondary. The elimination of Medicare Advantage would increase AARP's insurance sales. AARP supports stripping it down so they can make more money. AARP members are overwhelmingly against the Obama / Pelosi Healthcare take over. Unfortunately for AARP members the staff overwhelmingly supports democrats. I believe the figure is 80% voted for Obama and the Gaffemaster.
