<<irrationally exuberant limb with MTON>> Isn't it difficult to say what might happen to this incredibly dynamic industry 2 years from now? Why can't some major players come in and take away MTON's business? MTON is a good chunk of my portfolio, but my "speculating" only goes so far when looking for super high growth.

Doug, to me this is the perfect example of why I don't see how TA can be rellied on so heavily for a stock like this. The wireless industry is like watching the evolution of ape to man in a 3 year period. How can the way MTON performed historically do more than shed a big glimmer of ligt on the future earnings? What kind of catacalysmic (sp?) force might throw all TA out the window sometime in the next 2 years.

Again, I have learned from you that a super TA can outperform big
time-- and have made a lot of money in the process (or should I say "not lost a lot" since my holdings where attitude stocks when the market tanked over the past 2 wks). I just don't see how TA can be such a finely tuned indicator.

Eagerly Awaiting Your Responce,
EVB

Doug and All Found this little Item in my mail:

Midcom Communications (MCCI) tumbled 5 1/8 to 1 11/16 after the telecom-service provider said its results for the next two quarters will be disappointing and that it is having trouble meeting its financial obligations. Sprint Communications (FON) said it is ending its relationship with Midcom.
Sounds good to me.This should really boost mton

>>I have gone out on an irrationally exuberant limb with MTON as far as my long-term target is concerned. My projection takes the stock to 40 and a 2 for one split, then right back to 40 and another 2 for one split, and finally a screaming run to 60 after that. The time frame for all this is 2 1/2 yrs.<<

I've heard of crystal balls and tea leaves, but this carries TA to a new dimension. What degree of likelihood would you give to the above?
