XYZ, i understand your view and it is quite rational. however, i think you will be pleasantly surprised. :-)

no, god isn't the sadist traditional religions portray him to be - he's not going to burn the ignorant in some furnace forever. don't worry about that nonsense used by humans to control and manipulate people.

the teaching isn't scriptural and it is quite offensive.

if someone doesn't know and understand god, that's god's responsibility which he will correct in his own time.

i believe everyone will get to meet god - in this life or the next (ezekiel 37 for anyone interested in the dry bones prophecy).

in the mean time, we all pretty sow what we reap, more or less, and we head closer towards our ultimate destruction. the question is whether god intervenes or whether we return to dust and stay dusty.

the author of the bible teaches that failing to care for others equal to oneself is a recipe for ultimate destruction.

i'll let history continue to unravel in such a way that the above will be proven with an exclamation point.
