Same hackers will soon prove that peak oil is a scam and that all depleted oil fields in the US are refilling themselves right now, so in 10 years they will be full again ! Party on!

Whether it takes a story about global warming or peak oil to get the masses to live in harmony with the planet doesn't matter. If they can't convince the masses that things have to change mother nature will ultimately take care of the problem.

Mish: It's now official. Much of the hype about global warming is nothing but a complete scam.

You are obviously a deep thinker on economics and understand it well. But as you think of yourself as having the right answers (which I agree with more often than not) you have to admit a lot of people disagree with you. MOST PEOPLE wouldn't be an understatement. Still though, I'm willing to bet you also benefit financially from your positions. Does that fact make your ideas any less valuable?

I don't know if there is GW or not - none of us mere mortals do. But I do know that the polar cap is shrinking and that most glaciers are receding and I do know that much of the permafrost in Alaska is melting. And I do know that man is spewing more crap into the air and that this is a completely new thing for our planet. Does that mean there is GW - no but it doesn't mean it isn't occurring and those who base their thinking on something other than science are likely to see the same disastrous results as those who ignored some of the equally obviously glaring examples that a financial tsunami was on our horizon. ....I don't have any fuzzy thoughts for the world - but it does give me pause when science has the low opinion as it does today. We dismiss science, we do so at our own peril.

Nothing has been "proved". Global warming is a hypothesis, not a fact.

The absence of global warming is also unproven: a counter-hypothesis.

What HAS been proved is that advocates of hypotheses are willing to manipulate and distort data to advance their proposition... but we already knew that.

When newspaper reporters are caught using fabricated stories, do we then conclude that "proves" ALL news is false? No.

On both sides of the Global Warming hypothesis are fine, reputable scientists, good usable data, and conscientious everyday people, trying to discern the truth. It's inflammatory and dangerous to conclude that all GW data is useless; we know that advocates on both sides of the debate are willing to bias the statistics, and we all know that statistics themselves

This is a legitimate and important issue; millions around the world are concerned for the welfare of their children, and their children's children.

To label those people as taken in by "hype", and legitimate data from either side as a "scam" is not helpful. You are right to point out the distorted data and those who helped propagate it.

Those persons and their acts do not invalidate the legitimate GW data from either side. Their unfortunate behavior does not end the GW debate. It is wrong to conclude that the acts of such persons "prove" anything about warming.

Normally, I don't approve of hacking computer systems, but in this case, the hackers are the heros. They hacked into the computer system of the main think tank for the global climate change propaganda and they got files and emails from over a 10 year or so period of time proving the fraud of climate change.

Alex Jones - Infowars has the most articles on it on www.infowars.com

The Wall Street Journal has an article today too

online.wsj.com

And the Telegraph - this was an early article - several days ago:
blogs.telegraph.co.uk

The entire global central plan for International COMMUNIST resource management was predicated on the fraud of climate change. No matter what, this is going to be very interesting because in less than two weeks, global leaders were all set to sign the Copenhagen Treaty. So what we ALL have to do, is to call our senators and representatives in congress asking for a Congressional investigation into the recently discovered fraud of climate change. There is not only the intentional manipulation of the data, there was corruption of the science and the peer review process, there was intimidation of the publishers of periodicals, etc. Massive amounts of money have been spent on this - all predicated on fraud. To use the word racketeering doesn't begin to cover it.

Google - "Climategate" for more articles and info

Phone numbers for your senators can be found here:

senate.gov

Your house members can be found here:

house.gov

It's important to call because they count volume on issues. Senator James Inhofe of Oklahoma is calling for an investigation. All calls the other senators receive supports Senator Inhofe.

We might be able to stop the Copenhagen Treaty if we make a big enough stink about the Climate Change FRAUD.

Here is a link to a story - and the video of Lord Monckton's speech
