I have the JTS Champion 3.2 Gig drive, and I havent noticed any slowness. I also ran some benchmarks versus my old Western Digital 540 Meg drive ( I believe they are both PIO mode 3) and the JTS drive had a 50% higher transfer rate and better access time. I believe it was the Norton benchmark I ran. I have heard several people say the drives are slow, but these people never say which specific drives they tested (i.e. Champion, Champ, Nordic) or which benchmarks they used. My own first hand information indicates that they are reasonably fast drives.

Do they publish any figures of merits ? In which tests are the drives slow ? How much slower are they compared to the competition ? Which JTS drives are actually used in the tests ?
