our leaders, the big banks, GS, any recipient of the bailout scheme, all those getting big bonuses each year who should have been BK for their greed & incompetence, but instead received billions, and the politicians who were rewarded w massive re election "contributions" (or kick backs depending on your perspective) from same..

... eventually, and only eventually, at the sad end right before onset of happiness, the winners should be: diligence, family values, thrift, community spirit, hope, natural curiosity, learning, and faith, etc

but the eventually only happens after successful navigation through the darkest interregnum where most will perish so that the few can emerge as winners, numerically speaking
