I missed this. The headlines this last week sounded like they are looking around for sites in the USA. No?

4% increase in DoD. No exit strategy at all in Iraq but a promise to stay there indefinitely, if need be.

You will see significant reductions next year. Just wait. Might not hit as high as originally promised, but I didn't expect that.

Huge buildup coming in Afghanistan.

This is a problem. At some point the USA has to remember what we did to the Russians there. We can't stay forever. Of course what do you think the Rightwing in the USA will say when O finally starts to think of an exit?

Scrapping single payer in favor of the most massive sell out to an industry group since the housing bubble?

He does not have the votes for single payer. IMHO, this is actually good. I like multiplayer systems. He should instead take some small steps of reforming the insurance system first. I know many disagree with that, but IMHO its the best way to proceed.
