No, everybody has a right to be upset and in this case rightly so. But one should be upset at those scientists and they should be stripped of their title since they manipulated data which is a deadly sin in science. The entire discussion is converging on GW being real or not, while my argument was just that this incident doesn't prove that GW is fake or real. Now show me 3 more independent groups of scientists that have done the same and prove to me that at least 4 independent groups in the 'no GW' camp have spotless data. Then you might start to draw a decent conclusion. Anything else is not very scientific.
