Tonight, Democratic senators stood for you.

We stood for a healthier nation. We stood for patients' rights. Every Democratic senator stood together to move forward with historic health care reform. Your passion and persistence paid off.

But standing up is only the beginning of any journey. The path ahead is a long one.

While we stood for reform, Republicans simply stood in the way. Every last one voted to block the Senate from even discussing the bill. We know that their rhetoric will only grow more shrill during the upcoming debate.

For now, however, take pride in knowing that we stood together -- and are moving forward .

I think there were a LOT of requests to do just that.

The Bush guys wanted to keep casualties down and do it all on the cheap.

Therefore, we STILL get videos from the top two Al Queada guys and the top Taliban guy.

Can you IMAGINE if a Democrat had allowed that to happen?
