Re monex:

Be very careful dealing with these guys. I was on a palladium hunt and made the mistake of placing a buy order with these folks.

IMHO: They are essentially traders/brokers and want to charge you a fee for everything. They did not have the material in stock (they wanted me to wait a month)... and there was a fee (in addition to commission, etc) to take delivery.

None of this was explained before hand.

When I told them I was only interested in immediate delivery and if they could not do that to cancel the order, they did not cancel, but "reversed the trade" and tried to charge me for the spread, plus fees +,+,+ and then turned my account over to their internal collection division, which wanted to charge interest on all the other bogus charges and fees they had billed.

It was impossible for me to speak to a member of management over the phone to resolve this. They were never available.

I had to get the local police involved.

Bottom line: I would stay far away from these guys.

But I guess they have to pay for the TV advertising somehow.
