"I don't know what Matthews is but he's no in the pocket liberal for Obama."

Neither is David Gregory. He was asking questions this morning that Dave could have written. Then, he went on to quote a Krauthammer column! He could be on Fox!

I don't know what Matthews is but he's no in the pocket liberal for Obama.

This video must be taken in context with the following three items:

a) The editing of that video would suggest Matthews is bashing Obama 24/7, when most of the time Matthews is still lavishly heaping praise on Obama. The repeated remarks about Obama's "intellectualism" is an example; he is an "Intellectual In Name Only", similar to Paul Krugman, who is just as incompetent as Obama.

b) Liberal Democrats are clearly getting fed up with Obama and his failures, too (for all the wrong reasons, but still) --

On Thursday, Conyers told radio host Bill Press' national show that progressives "held their noses" and voted for a health care bill watered down in an attempt to appease critics.

"I'm getting tired of saving Obama's can in the White House," said Conyers, who added that the White House strategy appears to be, "Give us anything and we'll sign it and declare victory."

c) Matthews' ratings are lower than Obama's bow.
