No I had the right guy. Can't find his quote about trees but there are many on line about his views on animals.

If you actually read his material rather than quotes lifted out of context and twisted by the right wing to try to keep Obama from governing, you would see that he doesn't advocate that. Much more nuanced. If you wish to attribute views to him, it makes sense to read his work. There are, after all, more than a few things to disagree with him about. But it only makes sense to try to disagree with his actual views.

You might have had the guy you wanted but he didn't say what you claimed he said. Its easy to check in the age of google. There were a couple of hits from some right wing wacko blogs that made a reference of some of Sunteins thinking and then made the leap of ...."like the thinking of Holden". But that kind of journalism is dishonest - and that is being kind.
