<It is wrong to conclude that the acts of such persons "prove" anything about warming.> The problem lies in the fact that these "persons" are the very point guard for the GW cadre. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the "Mann hockey stick" as the be all and end all of GW. It has been a money driven scam from the word go if you ask me, but no one's asking me.

TRIG, i don't think the issue is GW. it is man made GW. global temps are always in flux. we've had plenty of GW in the past - in fact, that's why glaciers don't cover the north of this nation. clearly, mankind didn't create or influence previous GW. so, are we doing so now? frankly, i don't know. we know people will lie and say we do - some of whom have made $100s of millions off their lies. the bottom line, as i see it, is that our debt based monetary system required ever increasing debt and economic growth or it collapses. they try to achieve 3% growth - and that means the size of our nation will DOUBLE within less than 25 years. given this goal of our government - to double the size of our nation within 25 years - any talk of "reducing emissions" is a crack smoking pipe dream. not only irrational, but impossible. so why all the talk if actually reducing emissions isn't the goal? quite simply... to make well connected special people like al gore rich and to raise taxes on the serfs. that's my problem with this whole fraud. even if man made GW isn't fraud, the goals of crap like cap and trade (cap and tax) is.
