I agree on Iraq, Afghanistan is more difficult. What would you have had Bush do after 9/11? I supported his going in there, but I also feared there was no easy exit. Its proving to be the case.

No, I'm not in the medical field. I simply think that competitive systems end up being superior to non-competitve systems. The fundamental flaw currently with insurance is the preexisting condition problem. But the flip side is that everyone must be insured at all times.

How lower income individuals pay is a separate matter which is best dealt with in the same way we deal with all other such issues. It is wealth transfer, like it or not.

Separate the issues, and deal with each in the best manner we can, rather than lumping them together and getting a poorer solution.
