Mike,

I think I may have added confusion here. I went back and found the article I read. The investment I referred to was made in Data Dimensions not ZITL. However, I still think the Dallas group or someone similar was probably responsible for the connection between ZITL and Soros.

The following excerpt is from the Fortune article.

In mid-April came another bit of good news for Year 2000 investors. Documents were filed with the SEC revealing that George
Soros had bought a stake just under 10% in Data Dimensions. To put it another way, one of the greatest investors of our age was in
the Year 2000 play. It was almost too good to be true.

In fact, it was a little too good to be true. Yes, technically the investment was Soros's, but the real investors were two brothers in
Dallas named Tom and Joe Barton, notorious shortsellers now making a rare long play. They were among a handful of private
money managers around the country who had capital from Soros to invest at their discretion. Still, the only thing that mattered to
most Data Dimensions investors was that George Soros had apparently validated their investing judgment.
