Mindmeld, > I think I was the only GOP member in the first 4 years of Bush Jr's Presidency that routinely complained about his fiscal profligacy.

When you repeat the same lies liberals have been making over the past several years, no one but your left-wing cohorts will believe what you say.

What lie did he repeat?

They only appear as lies to people who are not open to the truth or are so embedded in the mythology coming from the GOP that they can't see the truth. The liberals say a lot that isn't true, but so do the GOP. The discerning person can read between the lines.

One way I've managed to do this is by continuing to get my news from both sides of the aisle. I listen to CNN, but I also listen to FOX. I read Drudge, but also Huffington. Etc etc. One has to read from a variety of sources in order to have a hope of finding the truth. It's all so steeped in propaganda nowadays that it's hard to find the truth.
