Humor vs. political posts on topics proven to inflame the board and not change anyone's beliefs or opinions?

The thing is that political posts on investment boards only provoke. Have you ever known anyone to read a political post on an investment board and suddenly slap their forehead and say, "gosh, everything I believe in is wrong and I'm changing my mind right now because of XYZ's post..."

OK, maybe my post wasn't funny to you, but it was in the same spirit as the posts about sending a check to a company that has trillions of bucks worth of oil under Paris and wasn't an attempt to challenge anyone's political or religious beliefs or provoke ill will on the board.

Big Dog... can you help me out here?

I sincerely apologize to anyone on this board whom I've offended or provoked as a result of any of my posts. I've always attempted to provide unbiased information about the one sector I know anything about and worked in the past 25 years or so.

I am truly sorry and will never post anything on this board again.
