The dems can use reconciliation like Bush did. That only takes 51 votes. Bush and the neo cons rammed everything down the country's throat with reconciliation and fear tactics. Now we have to fight them. The Tea Baggers are misguides pawns of the power barrons. They fool them by saying "look we are like you". We share your values i.e. we love god, guns and hate gays. But they are not like them at all. They are rich and their pawns are often poor and uneducated. AIG 182 billion, no questions asked. Goldman Sachs making record profits after a 40 billion bail out, no questions asked and I could go on all day long. We can get 51 votes. And if the Republcians want to filibuster make them do it. Every single time. We have been laying down when we need to fight. The right wing needs to feel some pushback. Maybe a few half sane people like snow will switch parties. The neo cons, military Industrial complex, Wall street and corporate America are not going to just find reason all of a sudden. Think of some of the bad power blocs in history. Would any of them compromise. Did Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms or George Wallace compromise? Did Nixon compromise? Did the Duponts, Rockefellers and JP Morgans and the rest of the Robber Barrons of the early 1900's compromise. That is what is going on here.
