IMO, if you eat a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables daily, you'll get almost all the vitamins your body needs. On an average day, I'll have about 10 different ones.

There are just too many micronutrients in most foods which are missing from supplements for them to be an effective replacement for a healthy diet and lifestyle (i.e. Aerobic exercise on a regular basis).

Given that most of us eat far too much red meat and other sources of artery clogging fats, I take an Omega3 supplement daily to try to maintain a healthy ration of Omega3 to other fats.

I don't know if Colorado gets sufficient UV between November and May to allow you to generate Vitamin D. The angle of the sun during winter may just send its light through too much ozone regardless of where you are N. of the 40th parallel.

Somebody else could probably answer that question.
