"So let me be clear: al Qaeda and its allies – the terrorists who planned and supported the 9/11 attacks – are in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Multiple intelligence estimates have warned that al Qaeda is actively planning attacks on the U.S. homeland from its safe-haven in Pakistan. And if the Afghan government falls to the Taliban – or allows al Qaeda to go unchallenged – that country will again be a base for terrorists who want to kill as many of our people as they possibly can."

Why would they bother to move? They seem to be doing everything they want from Pakistan.

>>> at any given moment the world is ready to attack the US.

You weren't, by any chance, "politically unaware" on 9/11/2001, were you? You indicated you had no interest in politics prior to 2000, are you sure you weren't MIA during 9/11 as well?

You seem to have no memory of the incident whatsoever.

I am astonished when a liberal acts as though 9/11 never occurred. It is an absolute insult to the families of those who died that day, IMO.

But I remember before we went to war pointing out on this thread the real enemy would be the Western Liberals who have very short memories about this kind of stuff. Right again.
