Y2K Biotelecosmictechdot.com mania, houses, NZ$, oil again a couple of years ago and now gold. They get going reasonably enough but then build up a head of steam and go faster and faster to excess. As our great and estimable iconic Uncle Al KBE expounded in regard to irrational exuberance, it's hard to know when it's going. But it's a bit like porn, I know it when I see it. Gold is starting to look a bit pornographic - certainly it has moved into the erotic art realm. Keep an eye on the drool from TJ as a guide to what stage we are at in erotic gold. Mqurice
