Nobody has a clue, the situation sucks. If they didn't inflate,
the unemployment would definitely be much higher. Simply
put, there is no quick fix. There are a number of problems
that will have to be worked out over time. Private debt
over 300% of GDP can't disappear overnight. Inflating it
away will be tried, but it will lead to worsening economic
conditions, or stable at best. The economy will turn and
go into the next boom when it's ready. That would be
a few years from now, at least, maybe even a decade.

In my personal view we'll have another bad business cycle.
That's 8-10 years. A lost decade sounds about right.
