And I would have supported his spending 5x that amount if necessary. As I've tried to convey to you, money should never even enter the mind when you're considering going to war. It is an unimportant consideration in that decision process, or should be.

I would too. But that's not the hand we were dealt. We were attacked and could hardly just say, "Oh, f*ck it. Tough luck. Hope we don't get it again". It doesn't work that way other than amongst the left wing nutcases like yourself.

You take action to make sure you aren't attacked again. GWB did that.

When a war is necessary you do it then figure out how you're going to pay for it later. You might want to read up on FDR.
