Since the 1950s, the US has had a messed u p foreign policy in South East and South West asia. Today they are paying the price for that with the war in Afghanistan and Pakistan. And it is inn China's interest to not let India supersede them as a power and to keep the troubles brewing in that region so that the US Treasury is drained with the ownership of that Treasury slowly moving to China. Remember Gary Powers and the U2 spy scandal. I remember that vividly during the days that I was growing up.
