Islamic terrorism is just a subset of terrorism in general. You surely can be knowledgeable about terrorism in general without obsessing over individual acts of Islamic terrorism. And the goals and techniques are the same. It is to inflict fear and cause chaos. Which seems to have worked extremely well with the right wingnuts. Y'all are cowering in your boots and willing to twist and abandon the very things that makes us Americans in your fear. Which is the whole point here. KSM is just another in a long line of his kind. He just has a lot more enablers than is usual. I suppose it has a lot to do with there being no real threats out there.
