Joey,

Intel met with Lehman Bros this week... this is what Lehman reported:

NO MAJOR NEWS. We just concluded a meeting with Intel and learned that there
is no change in guidance for Q4. The company is expecting shipments and sales
up slightly, gross margins flat/slightly up, spending up 10-15% (10% likely).
Our estimates reflect this guidance. Management indicated they are prepared
for a softer then normal 4th quarter and that has been their expectation for
some time. The company believes that PC makers are focused on just in time
(JIT) and build to order strategies and as such are slimming down inventories.
Also, Intel sees no impact from the gyrations in Asia Pacific. They are
looking to introduce a sub $1,000 targeted microprocessor. On balance,
management stated that there is no change, but they are relatively cautious on
near-term prospects.
