"The fact that a bunch of amatuer investers led by a "Psychic Cop"

Hey, that's why I bought in to! The idea of a Brooklyn cop (I live in Brooklyn) with psychic abilities leading a rag tag group of small investors to the promised land was just so unbelievably believable that I just kept buying in as the stock went up back in August.

Me and my wife have lived in all kinds of interesting circumstances with all kinds of interesting people and... well... honest people sometimes come off as crackpots. When you meet someone who doesn't hide their amazing stories, but hell... flaunts them... along with common sense and some little bit of leadership ability and charisma... I just am curious about where they're going.

America, remember, was described by de Tocqueville in the 1700's as a bunch of ne'er do wells out for themselves. Loners who banded together from time to time to form collectives with a purpose. This group of investors is just like that. A veritable Boston Tea Party...

Real people are weird. Assholes are ordinary. That's just my warped attitude from growing up in New Orleans. The weirder, the realer.

Besides, anybody that rides a Harley can be trusted....

Do I need a smiley after that? D'oh!

David:
Forgive me if I misunderstand, but, you believe this to be
absurd?
And you still invest in it?
To my mind, this way of thinking goes way past naive, it approaches
dumbfounding.
Mine own rational is easier, I'm a longshot player, pure and simple.
Many years at the track have taught me, that if you're wrong, the
next race comes along in a half hour.
You can be mistaken many times, only have to be right once.
(imho)

As to your inference that there are many easily led amateurs
here, I don't get that sense atall.
Maybe our young "chicken little" started out that way, but even he
has come up to speed nicely.
I believe there are as many reasons as there are investors, But I
also believe that the majority come into this fully aware of the risks.
The nays, insure the rest are informed of the pitfalls, (real
and imagined).

makes it a little more interesting. MInd you that RMIL represents about .01% of my
portfolio."

David, David, David...

As one of the average shmucks let me say I'm doing what you are.. I'm risking a very small percent of my avilable cash ( Doesn't even fall in the "investment portfolio" catagory), in a situation that seems to have great promise.

Might not be a pump-n-dump... could be a pump and siphon...Pump it up and take a profit...wait and pump it up an take a profit...wait again, pump it up and take a profit and so on and so on etc.

With solidarity a scheme like that could actually work....For a while anyway.

And if it doesn't it's no worse than a than an hour at the Craps table on a bad night.
