Obama is trying to TRIANGULATE on Afghanistan -- it's the Clinton thing where you try to please everyone but end up pleasing very few (except maybe the Military Industrial Complex)...Obama doesn't seem to have the backbone or courage to JUST GET OUT of Afghanistan -- that is the right decision...Yes, Obama would take the political heat from the pundits and warhawks and conservatives in the near term...but the Afghanistan war is totally un-winnable and the United States can not afford to be over there (and so far I have not heard any convincing case about why we need to be over there)...Re-building our economy and aggressively dealing with the Global Warming problem is so much more important than playing war games in the mountains of Afghanistan...I wish Obama would listen to folks like Bill Moyers.
