By "history," Pelosi was no doubt referring to the 1937 effort on the part of FDR's administration to move away from stimulating the economy and towards deficit reduction. The shift was a mistake -- when policymakers should have kept spending, they instead started bringing down the deficit. This is the Left's position, not just Pelosi's. But it is without any factual basis. It was WWII that ended the Depression, not the additional spending. All the additional spending did was to keep FDR in office, i.e., give him POLITICAL gains. Is that what they taught you in the dale carnegie course you took? You mean bombs started blowing up; then there was a whistle......the ref called the depression over and prosperity began. If God gave you a brain, you must have destroyed it with all your stupid thinking........because you make less sense with each passing day!
