Paul Tudor Jones, Paulson. Einhorn and their rich hedge funds have decided that the U.S cannot manage its deficits except through onerous tax increases or dollar devaluation. Tax increases are out, so that leaves devaluation. The answer: Buy Gold.

Sounds reasonable and these powerful investors can make this happen.

My problem is that their promotion is anything but subtle; the dollar bearishness is universal, and markets have a way of frustrating overweight opinions.

If Oil plummets, joined by Copper, steel, zinc, iron, agriculture (none of which I am necessarily predicting) a deflationary set of circumstances may derail all this gold bullishness.

I'm not standing in the way of the Gold bull but will not participate in any form as the risk/reward at this stage is too dangerous.
