I'm probably not going to watch the whole show. If you can extract the arguments and present them, I probably will respond to the arguments. The arguments can be dealt with much faster than the impressions and anecdotes that watching the show would add. The impressions and anecdotes are less meaningful. Perhaps not useless, but not as useful, and much more time consuming.
