Bob -

I am not an expert in this field, but I do have a good basic understanding of the technology. Based on a Popular Science article in the May 1997 issue, Telegen looks like it has a very promising product in development. They announced the successful development of a prototype in August, and they have been ramping up their investments in the technology. I am aware of their negatives - the cheesy presentation they gave last year (read about it in this thread), the fact that they havent turned a profit, etc. However, after looking at their website and reading the PS article, I am thinking that their stock may be a bargain at the current level. The recent shakeup of their top people was taken as good news by investors..the replacements supposedly will shift even more resources to the HGED technology they are developing. I have read your older posts about this company, but I am wondering what your latest opion on them is. I would be especially curious what your opinion is if you have read the Popular Science article, have looked at their web site, and read about the press release in August detailing the successful prototype. You are obviously extremely educated relative to FPD's. Specifically, I am wondering if you feel their technology as described by the PS article is promising or looks as if it is "pie in the sky" to you. Also, do you agree with the guy who previously wrote that TLGN's technology is really just a VFD? Any input would be greatly appreciated. From what I gather, their claims that their product would require very inexpensive plants to produce and would be of superior quality and power requirements hold a lot of potential.
