I've said I will support Obama's decision so long as he doesn't try to "split the baby" by doing it half-assed. If he allows 34K troops that is pretty much giving the general what he asked for.

In spite of the fact there is a very good probability my son will be deployed there as a result of this decision, I'm going to support Obama's decision. I had started to lean toward wanting a withdrawal given the lack of experience this WH has.

Can't argue about that.

It's looking like Obama is LBJ.

He's made a mess of the presidency to date, but I don't think this is a fair criticism.
