i already do that. so i've got time for the market. <g> its only t day here babe. everybody else is making plans for the end of the world. join hands, join the love train. will do the same, but at the desk anyway. started the holiday with crab cakes tonite. oven roasted in a panko breading. quite nice. with fresh minced thai pepper and paper thin sliced cucumber sans seed, marinated in a sugared vinegar 1/2 apple, 1/2 rice, with a hint of chopped celantro and very thin sliced single clove of garic. will half cook my ducks tomorow, debone, and then do a demi glace from the bones, skim fat after a chill over nite and all that. mid day, start doing the rest, slow carmalized pan roasted apples in sugar butter rum ginger. will finish off the ducks with a good slow roast basting......... elements to be decided. maybe honey whiskey. not sure. chestnut cornbread stuffing will be underway.. a meal by itself. petit salad of mixed greens yada yda yda. prosecco for entire meal. appetizer.. i'm torn. might be giant salmon eggs on some kind of green onion garlic butter toasts, not sure. dessert... more booze i guess. i can only do so much living alone in a box. and being friendless and so on. sigh.
