The debt chart is indicating that the relative bargaining of the majority is falling in comparison to a minority. Then the majority are forced to borrow money from the minority instead of being able to earn it. This may be because of the success of centralization, which the financial system and economy of scale encourages, that gives most income to those closest to the largest pooled assets of ordinary people.

And the main reason the majority have to borrow money is that easy debt conditions had raised the price of real estate to bubble levels forcing everyone to gamble or get left behind.

There seem to be a mirage of borrowing and lending capability that seems to exist way beyond the real capability, because everyone seemed to believe the illusion that housing could never go down in price, and the collateral actually increased in real value as nominal value was increased by generating borrowing capacity based on that collateral.

"TP, that debt chart is astounding... and the fed knew about it every single day of the last 20 years.

they. didn't. care.

their boys were earning money at the expense of americans and others."

aint that the truth....i have the debt chart printed out and pasted on my cubicle wall, so all my coworkers can become aware of the magnitude of the problem, and put it in historical perspective...unbelievable that this chart is not shown on the news daily, every voter should have this chart fixed in his/her mind...instead of saying 'who could know?'
