Thanks Ed. If cap and trade goes through, and the carbon price goes high, I expect some companies could really boost their profit margins.

Maybe some marginal old wells might make more money putting CO2 into the ground than taking oil out.

Ed, I simply find it hard to believe that there will ever be massive capture and injection of industrial CO2. Now - for processes like ammonia or other reforming processes to generate H2 the CO2 is already concentrated by the nature of the process. I suppose if forced some companies will pipeline the already captured CO2 for injection.
