I understand why they are invested, why they post on this thread, why they are optimistic about this stock, why they are willing to hold long, and why they have little tolerance for the nays... In other words, I know what they are in it for. The thing I'm having trouble grasping though, is: What is the motivation for the five or six "regular" nays who spend countless hours beating this stock to a pulp, digging up even the most mundane and moot dirt on the company and its workings, relentlessly attacking the position of the longs... In other words, generally appearing obsessed with convincing the longs to sell. I don't believe all the nays are short rmil, nor do I believe (as some profess) that they are all in cahoots with the shorts. But so far, it appears that the nays are intent on depreciating the value of this stock by whatever means they can find. It seems the nays would like the longs to take note that this is some sort of scam or otherwise unattainable pipe dream, and sell before they get burnt. Okay, say the cartel "Sees the light," and sells now based on the nays' G&D (that's Gloom 'n Doom) advice. Wouldn't we be gratefull and appreciative for this advance warning when the stock returned to .19??? Wouldn't it appear that the nays were right all along, and there is no support for even a meager $2/sh price? But just HOLD ON a minute! WHY did the stock return to .19?? Could it possibly be because the cartel members decided the nays were right and all bailed at once??? hmmmmmmmmm... kinda smells like one of those self-fulfilling prophecies. Despite fundamentals, rumours, innuendo, mergers, splits, reverse splits, etc.. the only TRUE measure of a stocks value (like all goods in a capitalist economy) is supply and demand. High supply, low demand, low price. Low supply, high demand, high price. That's why we have investors, traders, momentum players, longs, shorts, gap ups, tanks, day traders, swings, corrections, gains, and losses. Alright, alright... so I ramble. For this I apologize. I conclude by asking in all sincerity (and please, I'd like a response from some nays). Nays, what is your motivation? What do you or will you get out of this play??? -ROO
