You need to distinguish between fighting terrorism and nation building. I think we need to do the former in the Middle East and do the latter in American, not in the Middle East.

Killing terrorists begets terrorists. It's at best a zero sum game. At worst it can bring back the Crusades.

Pacifying the populace is probably best done by the Islamic society.

We should just get out.
