Richard: I should probably point out again that Red Chip is only assuming 50% capacity and one shift for the current quarter. They say their FY 99 projection assumes gradual increases in capacity and additional shifts. They don't say what capacity or how many shifts they are assuming by 4Q 99, when they project a profit of 15 cents per share (they project VLNC to begin earning a profit in 3Q 99).

I haven't spent enough time going through either FMK's or Red Chip's projections to try to figure out what explains the differences, but needless to say, even at Red Chip's lower numbers this is a good buy.

By the way, out of the 300 or so companies followed by Red Chip, they only have about 5 or 6 where they project a greater gain in the stock price than VLNC.
