Our allies and especialy Briton were under siege and massive genocide was taking place killing all the Jews in Europe. We had an obligation to go into WWII, but the isolationists (right wing) cared nothing about helping Briton or the Jews and it took the strike at pearl harbor to get us in. Plus if we had not entered they probably would have obtained the nuclear bomb before us and we might be under Germany's rule today. Worse, 96% of the people in the US would not allow Jewish orphans in the US even though they had Jewish families to go to. Shame on us!! Disgusting behavior. >>As to WWII in terms of Europe, without more compelling reason why should we have lost so many young people and everyone able going off to war just because the Euros were in yet another of the ongoing tribal wars?
