It means you asking me to state something that I have already stated, and opinions and writings to be posted that I have already posted... therefore your question of me and your interest in my putting forth now for you falls flat. If it is not clear that I not only think the cold war is over and cold warriors hanging on to the past do not move us forward, then I haven't been clear. If it is not clear that though from all events there are lessons to be drawn, that I do not view Afghanistan as Vietnam, again I have not been clear. Oh, Afghanistan = Vietnam is a good meme to get some people's blood up and scare some people, not quite as scary as WMDs, but it has an effect. but still it is a meme that I find false. And LBJ? Some folks go back and forth between Obama should be an LBJ and twist arms and get healthcare passed & that Obama should not be LBJ and stay in Afghanistan. gets a lil confusing.
