I've had 2 300's in practice but they don't count. I've had 3 299's in sanctioned league or tournament. Pisses me off:) The last one was likely the best hit of the entire game and left a solid 8. There is only one way to leave a solid 8 and that is with a perfect pocket hit with a hook. Ah well. Edit: And yes, 165 for a 10 year old is most excellent. Keep him at it. It's a great game along with golf. Long after my football, etc years were over I can still get the juices flowing with sports like bowling and golf
