A bad habit I have with the hard boiled egg is to give it a liberal coating of salt and pepper. Afterwards my mouth burns from the pepper and Lord only knows what happens to my blood pressure from the salt. But... dang, that's good!

:) I was going to mention dousing them with salt and pepper. don't worry of the burn, I think pepper helps us stay healthy. as to salt, I hardly cook with it or use prepared foods, so if a person does that, it's probably good to sprinkle some on something at times.
